About our Crew
  1. Captain Brian Martel
A native Sarasotan, he grew up on Siesta Key when there were fewer than 100 homes on the Key. His parents owned the Midnite Pass Fishing Camp, a well known landmark.
  2. First Mate Doe Warfield
A native of Sarasota, Doe has been with us for several years. His fishing skills and quick response in the cockpit, combined wih his genuine concern for everyone's comfort and safety, has made Doe a great favorite with our guests.
  3. Growing Up Fishing
Brian has been fishing these waters for well over 35 years and he was a snook guide at the age of 12.
  4. Man's Best Friend
Whether it's fishing to live or living to fish, every good captain has to take a break for man's best friend once in a while.
  5. Great Catch
Our guests with young children expecially appreciate Doe's infinite patience and ability to ensure everyone has a great time and learns a thing or two along the trip.

" ....The Martels have been synonomous with fishing in Sarasota for as long as I can remember.  For a great day out on the water I highly recomend a trip aboard the MIDNITE SON . Good luck and tight lines ."
